Fortnite to exclusively air a scene from Star Wars Episode IX

 

Next Saturday, December 14, Fortnite will exclusively broadcast, within the game itself, a scene from Star Wars Episode IX. We tell you what we know.

 

The Episode IX of Star Wars , which carries the tagline " The Rise of Skywalker 'will be released in theaters worldwide on Friday 20 December. In Fortnite Chapter 2 , which is currently in Season 1 of their Battle Pass , there will be an event on the 14th where an exclusive scene from the movie will be shown on an in-game movie screen .

About a month ago we informed you that in Committed Reels , an iconic location on the new Fortnite map , a mysterious broadcast began showing a fit card. With the news that we have in hand, we can affirm without fear of being mistaken that it was a stress test for emissions of this type .

 

Epic Games has published in the various Fortnite accounts on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook, in addition to the official website, a formal announcement of this event, called " Live from Committed Reels ":

As they themselves affirm, the doors of the event will open at 7:30 p.m. on December 14 (Spanish peninsular time), and will start as such half an hour later, at 8:00 p.m. They have not given more details, although we assume that, as has happened with previous events such as the black hole , there will be some specific game list in which players can enter to enjoy what is to come without fear that their opponents bother them.

This Fortnite Battle Royale event wouldn't mark the first time that Disney's intellectual property and the Epic Games giant collaborated; On November 15, a Stormtrooper Imperial skin arrived in the game , which was available for a limited time in the game's paVos store. It was also available for free when purchasing Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order from the Epic Games Store.
